Visual Showcase

A curated visual identity showcase and design retrospective for Visual Showcase.

About

Brex and Better Half have built Fiscal Mania, a custom arcade cabinet and original game in which the player, cast as a CFO, pilots an AI agent through a full fiscal year. Instead of firing weapons, the player dodges expenses, unpaid invoices and audits across four quarters, ending in a showdown with Operational Drag, the friction Brex exists to remove. A built-in camera turns each player into a pixel avatar, and a live leaderboard tracks the fastest runs. The microsite launches October 22, followed by a social reveal of the cabinet on October 23. The game then goes live in person, first at a New York pop-up on October 26 with open play, swag and catering, and then at a San Francisco launch party on November 5 featuring both arcade cabinets, a DJ, themed cocktails, ping pong, a candy bar, selfie stations and trophies for the top scorers.
